It that time again!  The time for our Mid- Monthly  “Misfire Alley” Event.

Very Important: Please read all about this event before you come out to the field.

 

The Launch is run and supervised by our own Scott Siedler with support from the BARS Launch Crew.

The Launch is open to NAR members and sponsored guests
(Any NAR member registered to launch can sponsor a guest)

Bring your launch equipment (or arrange with someone to use theirs) Your own equipment should include a Launch Pad, Launch Controller and a battery to power it all.

Again please note that to fly at this special event, you must be a NAR Member. You can become a member at http://nar.org

We will also have NAR Applications at the field if you want to sign up on the Launch Day.

Please remember that Broward Area Rocketry does not charge any Flight or Yearly Membership Fees. We exist solely on your donations. Don’t forget to pass by the Donation Jar as you come around to the Flight Table to Sign in. Thank you all who continue to help BARS offer our Launches every month!

Our next Launch will be this Saturday May 4th, 2013 starting at 9:00 AM

 

 

Certification News

We have time slots open for NAR Level One Cert flights.  

Our Certification Flights start at 12:00 Noon

 

 

 

 

Scott, Marc and the the BARS Launch Crew usually get to the field at Vista View Park  between 8:00AM and 8:30AM to setup the Tent, the Launch Equipment and Pads. Everyone is invited to help and it is very appreciated.

All NAR and Vista View Park Safety Rules are in EFFECT! Let’s have a SAFE DAY!

For all Launches, please remember to bring water, sun screen and head covering to protect you from the Sun. The South Florida Sun is very strong and even on a cloudy day,  you will get fried! Chairs, small covered tents and tables are welcome as well.

If you need to purchase Cesaroni or Aerotech  motors for your upcoming flights,  please contact Bernie in advance at BENBUZZBOY3@AOL.COM to make arrangements prior to Launch Day. Bernie is a dealer for Cesaroni,  Aerotech and Estes Motors and Hardware. Bernie also carries quite a few parts including Rail Buttons and other accessories.

Hello Everyone!

Before we get to the info for the next Launch,  I would like everyone to give a rousing applause for Inigo who has successfully completed his NAR Level One Certification Flight at our last General Launch on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 with a beautifully built Loc Minnie Magg!

On top of a perfect flight, his build and finishing was spectacular!
