Hello to all of our Flyers!
For the time being our Mid-Month “Misfire Alley” Launch is on hold because of time and availability of of the BARS Launch Crew.
So instead of the “Misfire Alley” Launch we will continue to join our associate Club the Florida Space Modeling Association (FSA) at their Launch which is usually the Last Saturday of Every month.
We will continue to hold our General Launch on the first Saturday of each month.
As always, please check our website for our Launch Calendar which always list our three local Clubs, BARS, FSA and HPRC.
Your Host at the FSA event will be Legendary “Rocket Rick” (Rick Boyette)
This is a NAR Member Launch Event.
The FSA Launch starts at 12:00 Noon. If you would like to help setup, please get to the Dyer Park field between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
Directions:
Site Location: Dyer Park is located at the intersection of Haverhill Road and Dyer Boulevard in West Palm Beach, just south of SR 710 (Beeline Highway). Exit I-95 at Blue Heron Blvd; go west approx 1/4 mile to N. Military Trail, then go south approx 1/4 mile to Dyer Blvd; west about 1/4 mile to park entrance. Continue west along the access road toward the Model Airplane Field & follow the designated paved bike path. Look for the pop-ups to the north.
You can also take the Florida Turnpike and get off at the Beeline Highway Exit.

Our next planned General Launch at Vista View Park will be on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 9:00 AM.
For all Launches, please remember to bring water, sun screen and head covering to protect you from the Sun. The South Florida Sun is very strong and even on a cloudy day, you will get fried! Chairs, tents and tables are welcome as well.
