To all of our Flyers & Friends,
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s successful trip and Lunar landing, we are holding a joint Launch with our sister club the Homestead Public Rocketry Club (HPRC).
This coming Saturday is the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. It is time for the final prep of your Saturn 1B/Saturn 5/Lunar Module Builds to commemorate this historic occasion!
And everyone is invited and bring your Rockets and Motors of any kind from A through G motors, Clusters and Multi-Stage.
The Weather is looking good but it is going to be hot, so please remember to bring water, sunscreen and head covering to protect you from the Sun. The South Florida Sun is very strong. Even on a Cloudy Day, you will get fried! Chairs, small covered tents, and tables are welcome as well.
We are expecting some of the News Stations and News Services to hopefully follow through and join us at the field for this historic occasion!
We are looking for a good turn out, so please join us at the Homestead Air Reserve Park
The HPRC Field is located at:
The Broward Area Rocketry and Homestead Public Rocketry Launch Crew will all be there and ask all of our Flyers past and present to join us as well.
Any questions, please contact Marc @305-992-5945
